Where doe this objective come from?

A Process

Loving God and Loving Others is a process. It’s the way Jesus taught it and modeled it. It’s loving God first and then loving others. It’s Jesus saying, "Deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow me. Then I’ll transform you into fishers of men" (make you into disciples who are growing and maturing in their relationship with the Father as expressed through visible evidence in your life.)

But can I really love God, let alone others? What is the Gospel?

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
— Matthew 28:19-20

Disciple-Making

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the farthest parts of the earth.
— Acts 1:8

The book of Acts shows us that the disciples of Jesus caught His model for disciple-making:

We start this process where we live and then move out from there, moving locally to globally. This Biblical strategy needs a growing/maturing community to make it happen!
