The following announcement has been made and was available in the church bulletin Sunday, September 16 and 23. Please read it carefully.
If you desire to vote as an absentee with a “yes or no” regarding the passing of point #2 as presented and recommended by the Board of Elders, please use the form that is below the announcement and we will record your vote for the meeting. A Yes passes the recommendation. A No does not pass the recommendation.

The Grace Chapel Elder Board is requesting a congregational vote on September 30th to amend the 2018-19 Grace Chapel Budget. The board wants to add an additional $2,100 expense to the Salaries and Bonuses line item to hire a coordinator for the pre-school and elementary Sunday School and Children's Church. This position will start in October and run through next February and then will become a part of the 2019 budget. The board feels this new expense can be covered because there is $1,300 currently in the 2019 budget that was not assigned to an expense and that the church’s expenses are currently $10,000 under giving for the year to date and could absorb the additional $800 of expense. If needed the remaining $800 could also be covered by church's current savings account.
If any Grace Chapel members will not be present on September 30th and still want to vote, please use the Absentee ballot below.
This new coordinator will be responsible for the recruiting and scheduling of volunteers, overseeing the safety programs for the pre-school and elementary kids program (volunteer background checks, safety training, etc.), planning curriculum and preparing each week's materials and supplies.
